Monopoly in the manufacture and export of Coir fibre extraction machines for the past 30 years, Godwell Engineering Products was founded by Mr. S.K.Devarajan in 1967 with a mission to develop and promote coir fibre extraction machineries in the domestic and international market place. We are the first in the world to have successfully developed and launched conveyor systems for coir industry.

As a part of development and diversification, we started manufacturing foundry equipments such as ladles and ladle handlers, and undertaking job orders with focus on heavy, non – standard operations. Because of our very strong infrastructure and internationally competitive products that are offered at an optimized cost, we started exporting machineries to Srilanka, Indonesia, Brazil, Japan, UAE and Ghana.

Resources and Infrastructure:

Our plant is spread across 25,000 sq. feet on the outskirts of Coimbatore, South India. Our factory houses highly sophisticated machines such as HMT and American Hobbing machines, WMW Thread milling machine, Keyway milling machine, Universal grinding machine (Germany), Duplex milling machine (American make), Slotting machine and lathes. High capacity generators supply electric power during power shut down.

Our departments of design, production, assembly and quality control are managed by highly qualified engineers and well - experienced supervisors, who ensure the highest quality standards and prompt on – time delivery of products that meet our customers’ expectations.
